    To become a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in Florida

    you must complete a master’s in social work (MSW) degree from an Accredited school

    Earn 1,500 hours of face-to-face, post-master’s psychotherapy over at least 100 weeks. 

    During this time, you must receive 100 hours of supervision, with at least one hour every two weeks

    When your completely finish your supervision, the supervisor fills this form out. If you have an unpaid balance from supervision, we will work together to get the balance satisfied right away. FORM

  • Supervision is the relationship between the qualified supervisor and intern that promotes the development of responsibility, skills, knowledge, attitudes and adherence to ethical, legal and regulatory standards in the practice of clinical social work, marriage and family therapy and mental health counseling.

    Supervision is contact between an intern and a supervisor during which the intern apprises the supervisor of the diagnosis and treatment of each client. Client cases are discussed, the supervisor provides the intern with oversight and guidance in diagnosing, treating and dealing with clients, and the supervisor evaluates the intern’s performance.

  • qualified supervisor may utilize face-to-face electronic methods, including telephone only communication, to conduct all supervisory sessions for internship hours if the qualified supervisor determines, through their professional judgment, that such methods are not detrimental to the registered intern’s patients and are necessary to protect the health, safety, or welfare of the qualified supervisor, the registered intern, or both. Any clinical hours obtained via face-to-face psychotherapy by electronic means shall be considered clinical hours for the purpose of meeting internship requirements.

    We do not have to always meet in person, but commuting can be difficult at times so if you need an accommodation to meeting via electronic methods, we can discuss this but the requirement is that we meet at least 50% of the time in person.

Mental Health Rescue occasionally has openings for therapists and student interns who are compassionate, skilled, and motivated Contractors to join our growing practice. This is a 1099 independent contractor opportunity ideal for clinicians who value flexibility, autonomy, and a supportive professional team or for current student interns obtaining supervision with us.

You must be someone who is able to provide high-quality therapeutic services to a diverse client population and be extremely committed to delivering ethical, client-centered care.

You must have active liability coverage you can get a monthly plan for as low as thirty dollars a month. We will check it.

We’re a fully remote team, allowing you to assist patients from home or your office. You will need to conduct all video sessions using only or HIPAA compliant secure video platform. You cannot call or video facetime clients from your phone or apps on your computer.

  • All clinical notes must be completed during the visit

  • If notes are not completed the day of the session, you will not be assigned any clients until notes are completed to avoid burnout

  • You cannot copy paste notes. All clients must have different notes associated with their care. We will check this and if not, compliant we cannot assign clients to you until proper note documentation is thoroughly mastered. This applies to students and non-students.

  • We are contracted In-Network Providers with commercial health plans, Medicaid and Medicare and all clinical notes MUST be compliant.
